.
was 1918 the last year of Swiss Luger production, if not, when ?

1918 was the first year of manufacture by Waffenfabrik Bern in Switzerland. The last Swiss production of the Model 06/29 was in 1947,

Yeah, I know...but that hardly counts as "production" (OK, it was "produced" but only as a one-off)

In 1965, Sam Cummings of Interarms had approached them to see if production of a new Swiss luger was possible. They created a prototype with 06/29 bits, without a grip safety.

That pistol was sold to Mauser in 1969 together with the other materials Mauser bought.
