1912 Erfurt 1
Here are some pics of E-12, I think its cooler than a 2 stick popsicle myself. Modified with the Sep 1913 mandate for installing a hold open. Not sure if they machined the existing breech block bottom (early Erfurts were not) to accomidate the hold open, and also switched the front sight to change the point of aim from 100 meters to 50 meters and marked it as such. No stock lug, with the million dollar chip, and import marked by the Birmingham British Proof house. I am familiar with the import marks except for the circle and the meaning of the characters in it, if anyone could help me with info on that I would very much appreciate it.

How did you setup for you pictures ?

Thanks
All pics taken with an older smart phone (galaxy note 4) at the dineing room table on a cutting mat with overhead track lighting. Not professional but good enough to show detail that my eye cant see. i would like to find a loading tool that would go with this pistol if anyone has one for sale. still looking for help with the British proof marking as far as the date it was done or any other info. any theory's on this pistols journey ? |
