My Lugers
Although small in comparison to many other collectors, I want to show my Lugers. One rack contains 10 Lugers, of which three are artilleries, one is a navy and one is a fat barrel A.E.. Four are unit marked. The other rack contains 10 Lugers of which all are unit marked to cavalry regiments. Three are 1908 1st issue and the other seven are 1910 DWM.

differences?
Hi Neil, outstanding display, and all look to be in excellent condition.. But, there are two distinct differences between your collection and mine? One is, I don't have 20 plus beautiful lugers to display just like you have shown (wish I did!). But secondly, and most importantly, If I did have a display set out just like yours, the sprinklers would come on right at the precise moment i set them out!!!........ Beautiful bunch of rare guns! Best to you Neil, til....lat'r....GT...

I understand the risks involved in displaying the Lugers. Rest assured that this is not their normal situation. They are all, with the exception of a G-date shooter, tucked away securely in individual silicone impregnated bags in the safe. I don't have a sprinkler system but there are other risks that involve people. I do have a security system, but as others have said, the best security is making sure that only a few trusted friends and neighbors know that there are pistols inside the house.

Now I have to go looking for my socks, 'cause that display blew them right off! Geez those are nice. Well done, Sir!

I really like the display racks, where did they come from or did you make them?

Thank you for the Honor, Privilege and Trust to view your outstanding beautiful collection Neil.
I am at once mesmerized by their beauty and hypnotized by their historic story. I can only hope that I will have as outstanding a grouping one day ... I'm working on it. PS: They look like naughty children pearing backwards over their church pews.

jeb111--Yes, I made those racks. One is made from Black Walnut and one is Cherry. Each individual Luger is locked in place with a sliding wedge and key.
