Default Marine corps birthday

On this day in 1775, the Marine Corps was established. As a Marine, I want to wish the Corps a happy birthday. Semper Fi.

I went to the 82 dedication of the VN Memorial.
The 9th I went to Arlington and visited the Iwo Jima Memorial. there was a Sgt and a squad of privates crawling around policing up everything thy could find preparing for the birthday ceremony the 10th. As expected.
On the way back to DC, I listened to a radio interview of the sculptor.
A question regarded his opinion of his work and would he change anything.
"I have visited it a number of times. I am satisfied with it and would not change a thing. I did a good job."
Great response.

You may be right Richard. However, there were more responses on the Still Forum.
