Default It's not a Luger...But it'll do

Just picked this up from the dealer in Anchorage yesterday and drove it home 350 miles this morning. The roads were great. Cracked 100 a couple times passing the slowpokes. It's actually a very well behaved car, even if the owner isn't.https://forum.lugerforum.com/attachm...1&d=1650241401

I'm not sure Todd and Buzz could tell you what it was if they were around today.

I had that problem when the C5 Vette came out. It looked like a swollen Mitsubishi 3000GT!!!

I did have a 1958 Corvette hardtop convertible back in 1970, when I was stationed in SoCal. Bought it for $600, sold the top for $100, bought a ragtop for the $100, eventually sold the car the next year for $500.

Ah, to be young in old SoCal again!

No frost heaves. They've rebuilt most of the Parks Hwy over the past 5 years or so. Great road.

Wow! Those C8's are fantastic. Congrats, and I am jealous.
I'm a vette fan. I restored a 1967 427 tripower roadster in the 90's and am the original owner of a 2012 ZR1.

I like it. I had an 85. A slow poke compared to the new ones.

Remember when I was a little kid waiting for my Dad to come home and hearing his Corvette several blocks away coming home, he had a 69 Vette white convertible with a 427 with factory side pipes. I loved that car.

Doug, does it have a mpg indicator like my old bugger does??? That's where I'm getting my 'real world' gas average from...
