Default Straw finish on G date Lugers?

A friend called and asked me if I want to buy his G date Luger. So far I only have a few blurry cell phone picture to go by, but it appears that the small parts are blued. As far as I know they should be strawed, but I don't know if they were all made like that. The rest of the finish looks like original and slightly worn rust bluing, will take a closer look when I see it in person.

So what do you guys think?

Hi Olle, All G date lugers, without exception, were produced with strawed small parts. The change to chemical bluing came in mid 1937.
