Default 1916 DWM Lp08 new to me

Just had this one shipped in. Thought it was a bargain with the stock. The stock, mag and toggle axle pin are not matching. The grips match, as well as everything else, and the bore is not perfect, but pretty good. I'm very pleased. I'm thinking I'll send the holster to Jerry for some restitching and repair.

Congratulations on your new acquisition. Thanks for showing.
BTW, the rear toggle axle pin should not be numbered. Just replace it with an unnumbered pin if the one in it now is numbered.

The rear pin is not numbered, (blank). I had presumed it should be numbered to the gun. Always something to learn here.

That's a nice looking rig. I know you're going to enjoy it.

Yeah ditto on the toggle pin, I’m sure you were glad to learn that! Nice rig! So cool to get one with the stock even if it is mismatched. Enjoy your latest acquisitions your Banner included.

Nice score GB

I just missed on a decent 1915 @ auction ... went for $4,715 w/prem. ... no stk, no holster.

Prices have gone crazy in Canada ever since our PM has become 'certifiable'.

How certain is the originality of the holster and stock? My Spidey Sense gives a bit of a cautionary tingle...

The wood and the attaching iron are original, but are numbered to a different gun. The holster is original, but needs work,(Jerry). The leather that is screwed to the wood is suspect.

Mailed out the holster to Jerry for some rejuvenation. I have no doubt his work will be impeccable.
