Post Double date luger grips

Hello,

I have two double date lugers. Both pistols have some of the small parts replaced. The grips look original, but they are not numbered. They are stamped with a small â??Lâ? on the inside. What are the correct markings for double date grips?

David, Generally military lugers of this WW1 period do have both grips numbered with the last 2 digits of the serial. If the gun was reworked in the Weimar period, unnumbered commerical grips may have been added. Th
