Steinar,
I love that movie. I have been looking for an Enfield Speed Sporter like the one that Val Kilmer used. I found one on auction, but waited too long to commit to a bid, and it got away. At the Black Powder shop where I work. The owner also makes gun barrels. He converts old double shotguns to double cartridge guns in 38-55, 45-70,45-90, 50-70 and if strong enough action, to 45-110 and 50-110. Lately he has purchased several of the old Husqvarna bottom lever guns and is converting them. The gunsmith who puts the liners in and regulates them marks the load that shoots the best on the bottom barrel flats with an electric pencil. They sell for $2000 on up depending on the quality of the gun. http://www.thegunworks.com/custprodg...at2Option=yes# Ron

Lots of history, right there...
I like it, but I too will have to content myself with renting the movie...
