KRIEGHOFF dated 1937 - opinions requested please
Ran across a KRIEGHOFF chamber dated 1937, serial number 7704 brown bakelite grips, proofed eagle22, eagle2 they told me that all parts match apart from magazine, excellent bore, I'm not totally sure about its finish. Price is about the equivalent of 3,600.00 $ I don't know what to do, I'm in contact with some other collectors in Switzerland and France, but this gun rechambered 9x21IMI has got no market outside Italy. I'd be interested to know some KRIEGHOFF experts opinions.

Hi Sergio,
It looks like an authentic Kreighoff to me but I think it may have been refinished. I don't see the E/2 inspection mark on the front of the right frame rail or the ghostly "thumb print" on the back of the frame. I would ask for some internal photographs, starting with the back of the trigger-plate. Regards, Norm |

Hi Norme
I've got the suspect that it was refinished, that would explain the missing E/2 and any noticeable sign of usage for a 80 years old gun. Thanks & regards.

Beautiful job of re-bluing...Edges are nice and sharp...Other proofs look clear too...
