I've got to say that the carbine looks great. I wish I had that kind of money, but what a fun shooter.

Compared to the cost of an original it's something of a bargain isn't it.

Was this made by aimco or a modifcation of one of their guns ? I wonder what price aimco put on it new, higher or lower ?

The item description describes it as a 16-1/8in. barrel, stainless steel except for an in-the-white byf toggle, forearm attaches with a frame extension, sold unassembled by Aimco.This one is dated 1996.

I am very curious why the byf toggle is being used instead of the AIMCO SS toggle? Anyone know?
