Default Post War Artillery Luger

Gents, just to learn from this as my knowledge is limited I can across this Artillery luger but dated 1938. I have read that military artillery luger were only made in WW1. I would presume
then with this example it is a WW2 1938 standard luger that has had a arty barrel put on and then refurbished. Any thoughts or good learning points would be appreciated

Cheers

Ben
