New "shooter" navy
You guys saw this one offered by member Jasta 2 a couple weeks back.
Here are pictures of the "built Navy". Based on in hand inspection: -frame is from a genuine 1914 Navy dated 1917 number 3015; TD lever, safety arm, safety lever #15 - new commercial 6" bbl, new grips - Erfurt 1914 receiver, #858 - Reproduction rear sight(believe from Sarco some years back) It does have an as new bore, and nice tall front sight, so may actually shoot to point of aim! I believe it was worth the grand it cost, which is the price of a common mis-match 9mm shooter. Will give it a shooting test next week, when the ground dries out a little! The nice Swiss military brown bottom mag was a bonus, and will go in the mag box. Thanks Bill. Some pictures of the piece; and close ups of the rear sight for ID purposes should anyone want to see its characteristics.
