Post A Mis-Match Curiosity

I recently received the 1910 shooter from Double T and will post a description and photo later today. I had assumed from his description that this was a mis-matched, re-barreled gun - not quite. The barrel/receiver assembly and all related parts match #5989b, the frame assembly and all related parts match #3569b. The close proximity of serial numbers suggest that both are 1910 production. Apparently, at some early point, the receiver assembly was swapped with that of another Luger. Has anyone else encountered a situation like this? KFS
