1938 S/42 P08 - Markings On the Grips
Hi all,
Ever since I purchased the pistol, I noticed the right side grip has always been a little loose. I noticed that it's starting to crack a bit, now I need to discover some ways to prevent it from getting worse (I'm open to discussion about this on this thread as well). Upon further inspection, I also noticed that there were some things carved into the wood. I've attached some photos. On one, you can see that it says "F 1935" and on the other, it says "1735 FF". These grips do match the gun. Any idea what those mean? Thanks! |
