National Military Vehicle Museum
Last weekend Memorial Day I drove down to the National Military Museum in Dubois Wy. It was spectacular, mind blowing! Filled with mostly American AFV's and trucks from WW1 thru Vietnam also a few post Vietnam vehicles. You start out going through a very well stocked firearm wing with every common military small arms you can think of then into the WW1 wing and so forth. Like I said mostly American but German, Japanese and British vehicles are there and dozens of artillery pieces. $15 to get in and Vets for free, I felt guilty not paying more. Anyway If anyone is up for a roadtrip it is so well worth it, I spent 7hrs there one day and easily could have spent another whole day there. over 90% of the vehicles are in running condition and the attention to detail in the restorations is second to none.
Jim Oh by the way there are Lugers there |
