1914 Erfurt
I am an attorney and have -- from what I can tell -- a 1914 Erfurt Artillery model. I guessed this from the "Erfurt" and crown, and the 1914 on the top of the pistol. Various other numerical markings over the weapon.
This was obtained by a widow's late husband while serving under Patton in Italy. She is a client of mine, and indicated that she is either going to 1. GIve it to a nephew, if negligible in value (i.e. in the hundreds of dollars); or, 2. Sell it, if it possibly is substantial in value. Can anyone give me a clue on the approximate value. The stock and holster are absent and, not knowing the importance of it, I did not check all of the numbers. It has one clip. Any help would be appreciated. |
