Ona side note I saw "Von Ryan's Express" today and I think they had a few of those in the movie. They seemed to be kin to Roy an Gene's Colts. Held an amazing amount of ammo!

I notice the 'forever'shooter magazine sizes that the movie folks seem to come up with. We use 250 rnd belts in our Maxims when we play. Even they dont last as long as 30 rnds of 9mm in a movie MP 40!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if the magazines were fully loaded or not, but they fired at least 750 times without reloading in spite of looking like 30 rounders!

We played w/non forever shooter Jap 99 machine gun today. Had the unfortunate experience of a .308 foreign round primer coming out in pieces and getting in the firing pin channel w/resulting break of not able to replace firing pin. What a nusiuance. Dont fire any black primer .308 in anything other than a bolt action!!!!!!!!!
