Pete, yes I agree ! I placed a bid for this item, but I do not want to bid more, because of the closure strap and the stock. I don't like the back of the holster also..(but the leather boot parts are excellent). your observation is very pertinent.

Pete, the last one you posted is a fake. The seller covers his ass by stating that he is not certain that it is original.

rear carry straps
read views on rear carry straps. came across pic of 1915 standard holster with upper part as with artillery straps. but below it a single belt strap. trying to put pic on here. told my pic is too big. can't load it. can send it to anyone interested...............

I think these "repro" holsters are just that. They become a "fake" in how they are sold by some with more lust for money than honesty... |
