1906? Mystery Luger
HELP!!! I am the owner of a Luger that ostensably is a 1906 long frame with hold open device. Here is the problem. The gun is commercially markings (germany, crown n on bbl and frame.Extactor marked galladen, saftey not marked except by polished area on lower portion of saftey lever travel. Cal. 7.65 Luger. Six inch pencil bbl. THE GUN IS ONLY SERIAL # ON FRAME BELOW REAR OF TOGGEL. The gun has never been refinished so serial #s not polished of in other areas.
No one has been able to identify this gun, and it is the only one I have ever seen with just one serial # and that in the position it appears. The bbl. length is also non standard and the gun does not have navy sights. I do not believe it is a 1920 commercial. Pics and serial # supplied to any kind soul who feels he or she can help me. Thanks for any help you guys can give me. Bruce |
