Does anyone here know what alloy they used? I see no reason why a stainless P08 wouldn't last as long or almost as long with a correct alloy properly heat treated to the same values. I passed on one of these 15 years ago for $895, living on the Oregon coast makes a person a fan of SS.

The problem with these SS Lugers is that they tried to defray the expensive startup costs with inferior tolerances and materials.
