Default .30 luger 12 inch barrel?

At Plymouth MA gun show today, a dealer had a 12 inch barreled .30 cal luger. Ive never heard of anything like that but you guys know better than I.....BTW the other lugers he had, I would consider shooter grade with maybe 70% bluing on them started at $1850.00

I have had an 8 inch 30 luger, a 10 inch (wish i had kept that one) and two 9mm 'carbine' like kits.

Default Long barreled lugers

some variations of Lugers have 11 3/4 inch barrels. also carbines had barrels of that length. Carbines are quite impressive. You wouldn't forget what they are and what they sell for.

Ive seen the carbines - beautiful. I understand Teddy Roosevelt had one. The 12 inch barrel I saw today was bare....
