The seller's ad described "The bore on this pistol is absolutely mint. I have never seen one cleaner or nicer. Folks that means no frost no pits NO DEFECTS!"

Have you checked the barrel? Is it the original barrel?

Yes - and the bore looks brand new! I'm still trying to figure out how to jury rig a borelite so I can get a picture of it.

Simply because the seller emphasized on the bore condition.... If you could post a picture showing the serial number on the barrel and "witness mark" (the alignment line acrossing the barrel and receiver), and a picture showing the muzzle crown of the barrel, that should tell. It's much more fun to play these C&R in hands than reading collector books.

I'll see about getting a pic of that area when I photograph the bore. But if the bbl was replaced, it was a darn good job, the number is correct, the witness mark is aligned, it has the correct Nazi proofs, and it has holster wear consistent with the rest of the gun.

BUT...

I'm not an expert, so I'll get a pic.

Male belly dancers? WT*! I'm gettin' to old for this s..... I'm thankful that I live in a state that still has a modicum of sanity.

Hate to tell ya, but I know of at least 2 male Belly Dancers in Florida - and that doesn't count the times when I come to visit! A very well known male is a fixture at the annual festival they have in Orlando.

And those are just the ones I know about...

Belly dancing is NOT in my interest to do. However collecting lugers and other things is a YES. If Zormpas was making that boatload of free cash as a performer, it would be tempting. Though I wouldn't pay to see me and I can't imagine anyone either. I would look like Dom in this clip.

Any job that puts food on your family's table is worth of respect.
