Default Need help with a P 08 holster

I recently purchased a P 38 that came with a P 08 holster, I am hoping that someone can give me some info on this holster, and also, is there a way to make the markings show up any better? The markings that I can read are: P 08 and also a smaller P 08, bml/41, and WaA 51? with an eagle over it (not sure on the 51? as I can not read it that well) any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Your holster was manufactured in 1941 by Hans Romer. (code letters bml) The WaA's I have listed for him are:101, 455, 788 and 918. One belt loop has been replaced. For the marks try putting baby powder on the area, tap the holster lightly and carefully remove the excess powder. With luck what remains in the letters will give you your info. It may well take several tries. Bill

Thanks Bill, after further inspection it appears to be 918.
