Indian remanufactured No4 MKI
I went to my favorite small gunstore last weekend, and found a decent R.F.I 1966 #4 rifle. Perfect bore, fairly good wood, and fresh paint. Looks like parts from many #4 factorys. A beautiful shooter, it may take the accuarcy award away from my Russian M44. Now my No.5 jungle carbine won't be so lonely. I'll have an Italian Carcano 6.5 carbine sometime next week($80. including freight, cheap).

I missed a 6 point buck yesterday evening with a 1944 MKIV, 150yds, iron sights, clear clean shot.
I wish I could blame it on the rifle. I will however put a deer in the freezer with it this year. Part of my stubborness is to hunt with a different milsurp rifle each year. rk |
