Broomhandle mauser question
I found a broom handle mauser for sale. The gun is a standard 5.5inch commercial with a woodstock that is stamped mauser. It appears to me to be in 96% condition or above with original finish. The stock is not serial numbered to the gun which is 800,000. They informed me that the pistol is a commercial gun produced around 1930's so the stock is not suppose to be serial numbered. What would be a fair price for this pistol? Caliber is 7.63. Thanks for the help guys.

Hi Edward, I dont know about price, however I can relate from my personal experience, that long before the internet came into being, I sold a Schnellfeurer, that was a bringback, with
the original wood holster stock, with a Mauser logo cut into it, and the wood stock did not have a matching number. I believe the wood stocks were outsourced , probably only Special models had matching numbers. |
