Default Value of Holster?

Hello folks,
I have decided to sell a luger holster I have that had been dicussed here before. I'm not sure of the value, but would like some feedback or at least an idea before either putting it on ebay or selling it elsewhere. If any of you are interested in it I would, of course, offer it to them. Thank you for any direction you may be able to give.

Best, Don

Hi Don,

I have been dabbling in Luger leather a long time and have often been a Jerimiah in the wilderness telling all that would listen to buy good leather. The market has borne out my advice.

Your holster appears to be a fairly common III Reich Army piece in above average condition. With better pix, I could judge better. I'd guess that it should bring something north of $200 easily.

Don,

I have lightened your photos a bit...so members can see more detail.

I would go the e-Bay route opening at $ 200...it's a nice piece.

Tom, Pete, Thank you both very much for your direction and input on this. I will go that direction. I cannot tell you people how much I admire this board. I visit a number of firearm venues and this one never ceases to instill my respect in it's members and format.

Pete, I am amazed how much better the picture looks after you lightened it. I'm afraid my picture taking ability isn't quite what it should be, and my knowledge in editing is non-existent.

Should anyone want this holster before I put it on ebay, $150 and it's yours. I am guessing that would be a good value for someone who needs one.

Thanks again, and happy holidays to all.

Best, Don

David, No, I check in often...I use it as a break from stitching and holster repairs. You can only do that so long.
I have found that from observing eBay, holster values have gone a little soft....Particularly P-38's. Could be the holidays. Jerry Burney

I'm just happy that someone from the forum got it. It has been hanging around here since 1945 and was not getting the attention it deserves.

Jerry, It headed your way today via priority mail.

Happy Holidays everyone and thanks again!

Thank Jerry! I enjoyed our conversation as well. I have a feeling that many of us on this forum have allot more in common than just an appreciation for Lugers and the like. I look forward to discovering those in the coming years. Best, Don
