I-M finish?
How were the Interarms-Mausers finished? Looks like salt blue to me, but with better/more pre-polishing.
Does acetone effect this finish? I have a, sortta, copy of the 1906 Navy. It shoots low for me, but almost on for others. These are old eyes, and my thought was to paint the front sight with red nail polish. But then what if I don't like it? Maybe I should file the rear sight to a 'U' instead of the V? FN |

Interarms Rear Sight
Quote:
All of my Interarms' Lugers already have the "U" notch real sight. By the way, for some reason, all of them also shoot low! sieger |

Thanks, Bob.
I bought this one as a shooter. At first I'd thought to shave the front sight a bit. but now???? I do know a machinist who could U the rear sight. Maybe do that first. FN |
