Weimar Police rework
I'm currrently working on a customers mismatched shooter with some interesting front grip strap markings on a WW1 DWM frame, drilled for mag safety but removed. Peened out L.N. below S.Br.I.395. Wan the L.N. marking military? TH

Tom,
L.N. is probably, "Air Surveillance Niederschlesien". A rare marking. S.Br. is Schutzpolizei Breslau. Ron

Tom, I agree with Ron on the ids. The L.N. marking is only the second example of a Luftfahrtüberwachungsabteilung marking I have heard of. I assume the Breslau Schupo marking is on top of the earlier inventory number. If your client agrees, I would love to know the frame serial number and the chamber date if it is matched to the frame.

Don, No indication of a number ever having been stamped after the L.N. Serial of the DWM frame is 4690a, with a mismatched upper. TH
