Mauser takedown spring
Have a friend with a 70's 4" Mauser luger. It is missing the take down bolt spring. Will a regular one fit or are these unique to the new lugers? And where can I purchase one? Thanks. Bill

Bill, I think they're all interchangeable. I've bought two from Tom Heller, one for a 70s Mauser, and one for an '06 AE--they were both the same IIRC. I also low-balled a spare pair on an eBay auction, so could probably help you out if you can't come up with one from Lugerdoc or elsewhere. I just checked, and Sarco has an original for twenty bucks http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/lugerlockingboltspring.aspx and a repro for eight http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/lugerlocki...roduction.aspx

Bill, The standard PO8 TD lever spring will also work in your Mauser Para, but the "arm" that fits verticaly into the frame will be shorter than the original supplied by Mauser. I do have original Mauser Para originals available @$25 each. TH
