Default Shooter Luger at Cherry's...

Spotted a shooter luger at cherrys.com (under Mauser listings) that a Forum member might want to go after. Sure looks like a great candidate to send to Thor's...ad reads as below :


" Mauser Luger 42 Code 9mm Semi-Auto, Dated 1940, 60% Finish Overall But No Finish On The Backstrap & Forestrap, Sideplate Replaced $495.00 "


This web-site normally does not carry any lugers...

The side plate that was replaced looks like it's from a Model 1906, first variation. If I'm right, I wonder what happened to the rest of that pistol.
