I like Spam. Lately, I can't get thick sliced ham at the supermarket. It's all sliced so thin you can see through it!

I've taken to buying Oscar Mayer chopped ham. It's thicker than the sliced ham.

Besides, when the Zombie Apocalypse happens, Spam and Twinkees will be the only food left. Experts predict that Twinkees made years ago will still be edible by our great-grandchildren...

Balogna is good too, with mustard, on Italian bread.

'Cause Oscar Mayer has a way

BALOGNA WAS FIRST MADE IN BALOGNA ITALY Heres a true story growing up in Bayonne NJ. Mom and I lived in a 4 family apartment building over fake candy store a booky joint. Mom had a little mut Named Scotty! Wanda DeVenuta and her husband Pete lived accross the hall in a four family apartment building. Wanda volunteered to watch moms' dog Scotty for a week while we visited Grandma in Jensen Beach Fla. Wanda while Pete her husband was at work opened a can of Ken-L Ration dog food and fed Scotty half the can and left the rest on a plate in the refrigerartor. After work her husband Pete came home while Wanda was out and fried up a slice the dog food and to Wanda surprise He never noticed the difference!!He actually loved the new brand. She fed her husband his favorite breakfest meal of pan fried dog food with 2 eggs and toast every morning for the next 10 years until he died of throat cancer! I'm sure the substitute spam had something to do with it! I wonder which is healthier! True Story!!

Eric,

Maria did a job on Isla Vieques, a few miles from the southeastern tip of the main island of Puerto Rico, which I have visited several times. They still were feeling the effects of Andrew which struck shortly before my first visit there. Another hurricane trounced the area since, but I forget his/her name. Maria was a direct hit, and I can only imagine the devastation.

Hurricanes are increasing in frequency and power, drawn from the increasingly warmer waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. So, we should expect next year to be even worse as the climate crisis progresses.
