Default Help to identify Luger Holster Contraption

Hi, I have this luger holster contraption and I have no idea what it is. Has anyone seen something like this before or knows what it is? Thank you in advance.

Ideal stock/holster. Requires special grips to use on a luger.

A further note: By BATFE rules, it may be attached legally only to an American Eagle Luger, 1900, 1902 or 1906.

They're quite collectible, too, particularly to someone who owns one of the guns permitted to be used with it. The grips sometimes appear at various auctions, so obtaining a set is fairly feasible--not a super long-shot like looking for a number-matching part or mag.

These are most uncomfortable to shoot with. The thin metal edges dig a furrow in your shoulder if you hold it tight. I know others will disagree but it's kind of a stupid although historical design.

Here's one I found for sale..WITH grips.
