New member, looking for advice and leads for first Luger
I have been collecting military surplus rifles for a few years, would like to get into collecting Lugers. I had a commercial DAM a few years ago but I sold it. I really would like to learn about an obtain WWII German Lugers....any advice, tips or leads as to a good first WWII German Luger would be greatly appreciated.

Jan Still has an excellent book on WWII lugers. Be prepared to fork out 200 bucks or more to get it, but you will use it for a lifetime of collecting them. Watch the classifieds here, and the other forum, deals pop up pretty regularly on nice pistols. Welcome to the hobby (sickness) of collecting lugers Jason......As Ed said, read here first, lots of info if you put the time in. John

If you spend some time reading and searching the forum you'll discover lots of answers to your question. You might page back a year or two in this and the New Collector forum. I would suggest searching for threads like these:
