Looking at the photos, it appears the grip panels are held in place with 2 grip screws per panel. Is that correct?

Maj. Tom, the 2 screws you mentioned just attached the wood outside to the metal inside of grips, which are held to the frame in the normal, one screw per side. TH

ideal grips
Here is a pic of the grips from the back the ouside wood is mounted to the metal plates (for attachment) then the plates are mounted as usual
