It's a muzzle protector for when cleaning the barrel. Weimar police issue.

Default Tight seal?

If somebody argues that a tight seal can,t be achieved on simply contact of matching machined surfaces, (perhaps like a flared pipe connection?), here,s a new design for Glock silencer which contacts the barrel only during a shot. The silencer is mounted on the rail.

What is the thread size? How tight the barrel crown seats against the adapter? I wonder if one to put a small piece of paper towel in the bore, right under the connection, and sprayed WD40 from outside, would it sip through and wet the paper?

Ha, perfect clearance 10.4-9mm= .40-.35”= ~.05.
I read somewhere 60 thousands is a perfect oversize of silencer for a given bore. It too loose, not too tight to hit the baffles god forbid there,s slight axial misalignment.
