It is never ending...

From your recommendations Gentlemen, I bought 2 weeks ago an 1912 ERFURT....

Now I have this guy calling me up to offer for sale:

An all original matching 70% 1913 ERFURT ( with stock lug )....HEY! I'm supposed to be collecting WWII LUGERS!

But I guess IT IS ADDICTIVE...So I'm gonna start a WWI category....

Owner is asking big money, so I need advice....
cause I'm no expert in IMPERIAL LUGERS.

But I would imagine that one is rougher shape than usual for the price they want?

Well,

The lowest I go for collector pistols is 80%...

I consider that one because I had advice that PRE WAR ERFURTS are scarce ? 1913 WITH STOCK LUG scarce also....So is that a piece to get???

In the 97 issue of Aarron Davis's The Luger Handbook, he gives the following prices for one in good condition; 1st issue-650, second issue-850, third issue-550. Add about $100 or so for inflation.

This probably won't help any, but there is a local shop with a 1913 Erfurt at about 60%, probably matching, he wants $650 for it.
