Guys,

one more thing...what model is my Erfurt? Judging by the documents on the forum it looks like a 1908. I am asking because I need a proper period clip and when I look at the 1908 model shown on the forum the bottom of the mag is not wood.

Standing by for advise.

Hi Alex, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your first Luger. Looks like a nice honest veteran.

1908 (P08) is correct. The original magazine was a wood bottom with the original serial number stamped to match. Like most Lugers lost in time. Try to find yourself a WWI nickle tube with a wood base. A Enfurt marked mag would be a plus, but I would think any WWI wood base magazine will look original.
