Guys,
one more thing...what model is my Erfurt? Judging by the documents on the forum it looks like a 1908. I am asking because I need a proper period clip and when I look at the 1908 model shown on the forum the bottom of the mag is not wood. Standing by for advise. Thanks again, Alex |

Hi Alex, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your first Luger. Looks like a nice honest veteran.
1908 (P08) is correct. The original magazine was a wood bottom with the original serial number stamped to match. Like most Lugers lost in time. Try to find yourself a WWI nickle tube with a wood base. A Enfurt marked mag would be a plus, but I would think any WWI wood base magazine will look original. Bob |
