If I were to pour out beer and clack the cans together I'd have every good ole boy within 5 miles showing up. That won't work.

It's the power of advertising. When I was in Texas, Lone Star sponsered the Texas State Open Armidillo Races.

Don't hunt armadillos with a pickup. Big ones have been known to take out a tie rod and send the pickup off into the trees.

Also, they normally have litters of four identical quadruplets. If you shoot one you have to watch out for his three brothers. They may seek revenge.

I don't want to race them, I don't want to breed them, I don't want get to know them, I don't want to sell them anything. How do you kill the darn things?

Default Dead is Dead!

There are no different variations. Wether you cut a tree down on it,run over it,shoot it,squash it like a bug, plant a land mine under it, what ever you want to do. Just kill the ugly little beast any way you can!

Default Re: Weapon of choice

The obvious choice would be a 30 caliber Luger. I've never seen a jackrabbit run after it was hit with a 30 caliber Luger. What more can you want?

For those who do not have a 30 caliber Luger, the next best choice would be a rifle chambered for the 458 Winchester and loaded with solids.

You can try pulling them out of their holes, but this may result in a hernia.

Hey Hugh, (no pun intended), who writes your stuff? Hugh (you) paint quite a visual picture. A 4'high bounding target would be a challenge for any pistol shooter.
