It is absolutely not out of line ... In Melanie Masons own words:

Ted's fall was no joke and he was/is in very bad shape ... if you read the description of his injuries you will wince in pain and wonder how Ted survived this fall. It is a miracle and it was/is very serious.

I pray for his full recovery.
