The High-Power is officially in the Raffle. We have sold 123 tickets and a few more promised in the snail mail. The reason we have reached High-Power level is because of the Generous donations we have received where no ticket is sold. I am speechless at the generosity of the Membership.

We will be extending the original end date, This will now be at 4PM on Thursday, March 24th. This is to make sure some promised tickets will arrive snail mail, and be counted.

A ticket will be drawn out and the member contacted to which it belongs, he will have first choice, second ticket, second choice and so on. This will take a little time as each winner will have to contact me with his choice.

One last time...Dave is quite correct, the odds here are pretty sweet for winning something. However, at this point I will only be accepting Pay Pal purchases. Snail mail will not get here in time unless it was mailed on or prior to 3/17/05.

To Buy a ticket and possibly win one of the many prizes offered you can send by Pay Pal: [email protected]

Thanks to all for your support of a great cause, Jerry & Ellie Burney

I am more than speechless!

The support from the forum is so much nicer than my work, and work has been supportive and kind!

I can't let Terry read this, or she'll start crying again...

Jerry,

Due to problems which I will not go into here, PayPal is not an option. I can, however, overnight $$ via FEDEX. Should arrive Mon. Is that acceptable?

Jerry,
are you going to notify the people who sent in money that you received the money? I know that I would like to know that you did get what I sent in.

When you started this project, you only had 80 numbered movie tickets. But I am sure that more people have sent in money then that. How are those tickets going to be distributed or did you find some more movie tickets?

I hope that someone takes pictures of the drawing and/or the presentation of a check to Ed and Terry. That would make it a happy moment for everyone on the two major forums. I just wish that I could be there myself.

Oh! And nice going, Jerry, for getting this thing off the ground. It is really great of you to go through all this trouble.

Big Norm, Ellie immediately sends out notification of monies received and the ticket numbers by Email when we get them. How and when did you send yours? Ellie has gone through our complete Pay Pal and snail mail accounts and at present you are not accounted for. Please let me know how you paid...

As of this morning , 3-18 we had issued 136 tickets. Yes, I did get another roll of movie tickets.

I am sure I could arrange to take some photo's of the drawing and post them. It will be relatively mundane as my 85 year old neighbor will be drawing the tickets out of the cookie can.

Ellie and I will be sending out the check to Ed and Terry as soon as possible after the drawing. There will be some accounting, Pay Pal fees and Postage but as soon as that is accomplished, out she goes!

Ed and Terry will have to arrange for photo's etc. on their end if they wish to do so.

One other thing I want to alert all members to...Please send Emails! So we can notify you of monies received! Without contact information it is difficult to communicate effectively. Thanks, Jerry & Ellie Burney

Jerry and Ellie, Glen is in our area, we are going to get together, have dinner and they'll digitize us.

PS: Ellie, got your letter, meant a lot to Terry, she says she'll talk to you about kitchen "tools"...

Ed

unsure if this is appropriate, but this is the kitchen...

Gentlemen, This raffle is scheduled to go off on Thursday and we will do just that. Keep an eye on this site and Luger Forum for a list of winners. We will be contacting ticket holders and asking them for their choices of prizes. Please be patient as we have to hear back before we can contact another winner for his choice.

We have sold 169 tickets as of Monday morning.

There is still time to get a ticket before Thursday if you want one. Send it Pay Pal. [email protected]
Thanks again to all for contributing to this worthy cause, Jerry Burney
