Default Interesting use of sunburst stamp on DDR P08

I just picked up a really nice Eastie P08 in which they used a sunburst stamp to obliterate the original number on the side plate. Part of what I like about DDR reworks is the crazy amount of variation seen from pistol to pistol and this one is a new one to me. I'm sure some of you other guys have seen this before and if so, post a picture or two if you have it. I filled it in with white china marker so that can be seen easier:

Yikes! Wonder what the state of mind the stamper was in? Pretty crazy, and cool at the same time!

Quite singular I would say, and no bad at all.

It is an interesting adaptation of the sunburst or star. It is not a standard DDR Volkspolizei stamp however since it does not have the shield with a number inside it.

Deja vu Schupo! It has a normal VoPo stamp on the trigger guard. I assume that this is an inspection stamp of some sort that was not used for its intended purpose. I'd like to find more examples of it.
