Did you refinish the stock or is it a repro???

Can't see the P38 serial. Is it a RC/VoPo refurb???

The rifle came from the guy who was making stainless steel .45 Lugers near San Francisco. It is an original stock and way to clean of a rifle to be in original issue condition. I have others that are nowhere as clean. The P38 was a gift and is also very clean and will stay that way, I have others to shoot.

This is how it came to me. I don't sand or paint anything unless it's rotting away and must be saved. It also looks to have been blued and phosphated by an artist. My other four all had the look and smell of rifles that had been well used but still shot well. this one also came with four original magazines.
