Default Bulgarian Holster?

This appears to be a Bulgarian holster, but then again it doesn't, something just doesn't look right, or did I just have too many cups of coffee this morning?

Default holster

Jerry, not having one for reference the hold down strap appears to be too long and starting too low from the ones that I recall seeing before. Must be my eyes, they are getting too old and tired, and I also think 'old timers' is setting in.

Nah Herb...Didja quit looking at beautiful girls? The hold down may be longer. It seems to be made a little differently. Interesting metal puece on the closure. Just the same, the general construction and the close together belt loops indicate Bulgarian manufacture. Might be some sort of variant. These have found little collector interest as yet....German stuff is still King! Jerry Burney

At shows, whenever anyone buys something off Keoki and My table, they HAVE to take a vulgarian holster as part of the deal.

Default Bulgarian holster

I've been bidding on just about everyone of these that come up on eBay and some one keeps outbidding me, I'm not going to pay a huge price for one, but I'd like to have one to go with my Bulgarian Luger. I know there can't be that many people out there with a Bulgarian Luger that needs a holster so it must be someone trying to corner the market on them or the seller has a shill running the price up, note bidder identies are not shown.

Tom and Keoki are the origin of the term "Vulgarian" holster, short for "Virginia Bulgarian". They first tried the somehat longer "Virgin Bulgarian" but no one would buy that!
