Default eBay Holster ~ Real or Repro?

There's a holster up for auction on eBay right now and I just wondered if anyone has an opinion as to whether or not it's the real thing or a repro?

See eBay Item# 130019101798 for more pics. The link below shows a photo of the WaA #.

Thanks,

Jerry,
Could be dead wrong, but I think I'm dead right.

About what, the WaA? What are you asking about?

It is just that when folks leave the question vauge, you could be asking lots of things. It is just easier on folks if we're fairly direct and come right out and ask.

WaA 101 was assigned to Ernst Kurz Stuttgart in 1937. And to Ehrhardt und Kirsten Leipzig from 1938 to 1940.

Unhappy

Ron,

I guess that explains the initials, E.K.St. Ernst Kurz was making Flaregun holsters in 1937. It doesn't say what Ehrhardt und Kirsten were making between 1938 & 1940. The holster is dated 1940.

I just thought the WaA101 looked too perfect and too recent, that's what made me question the holster's authenticity in the first place. I guess I moved too quick.

Thanks,

Jerry L.

Jerry, Always smart to be cautious. There are many markers that scream fake on eBay holsters but this holster is genuine to be sure. Sorry for the confusion..Jerry Burney

Jerry,

It just looked too good to be true, but then it is a very nice holster. So used to seeing a lot of the same makers over and over again that when I see very different makers name or initials in such crisp form like this one it messes my mind up.

Thanks for letting me know,

Jerry

Anyone notice the hit counter; over 6000 hits. When I get 200 hits on an item, I am doing great.

I agree Mike, although it matters if it is individual page hits or per person hits.

I always do / did per person, which would really be per IP hits, so 200 hits is probably what, 150-180 individuals. 6000 page hits is 300 normal guys checking and 74 guys with shakey, trembeling hands, or the seller nervously checking 100 times each day

I would guess You can start counters at whatever # you like. Perhaps this one started at 5500. Jerry Burney
