I just got a new shipment of blued MecGar mags in @$30 postpaid. I'm holding the nickeled ones for GT who is going to add his exc wood mag bottoms and +10% mag springs, which is another alternative, if you want the very best. TH

I bought an original and a mec gar magaizine from Luger Doc, I was quite pleased with what I got. How much are those wood bottomed nickel plated mecgars going to cost by the way?

Hi Crotalus, I am currently, and quickly, catching up on orders that were placed prior to my knee replacement surgury.. I am moving slow, but I'm moving... I will have my orders filled soon, as I am nearly at the end of my current mag. bottom run... (I never make enough, it seems!) I will then produce about a dozen of the upgraded MEC-GAR mags... The reworked mag. will feature a very dense and solid fancy figured walnut bottom, selected for strength, with a new, more consistent high quality mag. follower spring and new follower cap.. two new pins, and your choice of Standard or Navy type bottoms... they will be stamped with a GT in a circle on the bottom, and double pinned for strength... As these will be distinctively and permanently marked, I am considering a numbering service, matching the mag. to the shooter P.08 Luger... I have not yet decided on this, and was going to hear the opinions of the other members on this option, before I decide on a price or availability of this service... as it is now... I am going to ask $70.00 for a complete mag... if you send me your mags to modify, the service will run $50.00 .. both of the options include return postage... I am working on a cast aluminum bottom for the blue tubes, and will offer that option as it becomes available.. I do not anticipate any difference in price, but that depends entirely on my item cost... Only the new bright blue, or bright nickle MEC-GAR mags will work properly .. Not the older dull unmarked ones... the follower button relief is to close to the mainspring run, and it allows the spring to surge forward... not all the time.. but it does happen... If you wish to pursue this service, let me know, as I am taking orders for the first dozen now.... Also, let me know what you think of the project, any and all feedback would be welcome! Best to all, til...lat'r...GT
