Default Photos in Post?

I have uploaded 2 photos.

The problem is I can not figure out how to get them in a post. They are pictures of GT's Navy Meg Gar magazines that I just recieved from him. I wanted to show how good they turned out. Thanks, Jayhawk21

You uploaded them and placed the url in the post. To make them show, you would click on the IMG when you have the ADD REPLY open.

Afterwards (now), you can open your own posting and then change the letters url to img and save your posting.

Ed

BTW, I will move this posting to the general section later, as this is for site announcements, help and feedback

heres what i do,,,,,

get a photo host account like photo bucket ,ive used them for years and you dont get flooded with spam for using their service, they have advertisements but its contained within a single window, and its free

upload your pics to there, and you have 3 choices for each pic on which format you want to post pics in,also family from the other side of the country,or outside of the country can visit your pics

all you have to do once they are uploaded to photo bucket is highlight the IMG window under the pic you want to post and either copy/paste it in the text window of the forum,or drag and drop it in the window using the split screen method, thats what i do it faster

this way you only have to upload once, and you can post the pics as many times wherever you want without waiting

PLEASE DO NOT USE PHOTO BUCKET HERE!!!!

The photos do not stay, as folks either overuse their account or delete the pictures. We want to use this as a training and learning environment and I guarantee that many pictures would disappear much quicker than leaving them here.

PLEASE DO NOT USE PHOTO BUCKET WHILE ON THIS SITE!!!!

I know photo bucket works for many folks, but it will work the opposite on this site;

i wont use it anymore here but i wont be able to post pics anymore either

they only offer dial up where i live,im in a pretty rural area in Wv,uploading pics is the epitome of a drag (pun intended),just to upload a single set of six pics takes forever, and thats on a good day, they have to be resized to optimize speed, and i use that term very loosely, and it takes forever still to upload them, cant even surf while they are uploading because pages now take for ever to load, and it slows the upload rate, and upload rates are even slower than down load rates

with photo bucket you only have to endure it once, and your good to go from there if you wish to post on multiple sites

You have the same option here... if you upload your photos here, you can link to them here from anywhere else. You just have to keep the URL for the photos, OR, you can just right click on any photo displayed here and click on 'properties' and it will provide the URL for displaying the photo elsewhere.

If photos are shrunk down to 40-70 kilobytes each, they are easy to upload using dial up. I did it for 3 years while in Palouse, WA. The trick is to find out how to do it properly....

Sorry about that ED... I forgot about that caveat... only WITHIN THE FORUMS IS CORRECT.
