I'll be in eastern China for the next week guys, so if I don't respond to something, I'm not being rude, I'm just gone.
I'll try to sneak a suitcase of Chinese small arms onto the plane back with me. Let me know what you want. <grin>

..yeah, I know you was kidding about bringing some guns back. Firearms is not legal to own in China, those who have one.. well, you don't want to end up with a broomhandle where the sun don't shine

Tac beat me to it on the advice.. heard things where strict in China, didn't know it was that bad! Sounds very brutal..

Isn't it so that the relatives also has to pay for the ammunition used?

You have to admit, a justice system is cheap to operate when all defendants are guilty before and after trial, defense attorneys are for decoration only, all trials last five minutes and all offenses are capital offenses!
I've been in totalitarian countries before. The one advantage they have is that since everything is against the law and everyone is just scraping by, you can get an awful lot done with a small bribe here and there.
And yes, I was just kidding about the guns. Who wants a Chinese gun??!! Now if it were Russia... !
