question on marking
Does anyone have the reference material to tell me what manufacturer would have been using Waffenamt 815 in the late wartime configuration?
Thanks,

John,
815 was assigned to Steyr from 1940-1945 for cleaning kits and MP 40 and 44 magazines and blank firing adapters. Ron

Thanks, Ron. Bought a loading tool at a flea market in Italy back in 1980 marked WaA 815 and have never seen another. Itis marked with a "o" on the reverse. The seller had several with common markings and all were in rough shape. I took the best one. Doubt that anyone was reproing them that early.
Thanks again!
