Police magazines
I am writing the chapter on Police Luger magazines (the book that Dwight Gruber and I have been writing the last 1.5 years), and want to conduct a poll / information gathering.
Even ONE NUMBER IS GOOD, more is encouraged I do not need to know the serial number, but would like to know the following information of ALL police luger magazines you have, whether imperial that became police, weimar police or nazi police. Give me information such as this; wood base (WB); serial number (SN), marked with police #1, 2, or #3 and acceptance marking Aluminum base (AB); serial number (SN), marked with police #1, 2, or #3 and acceptance marking Acceptance marking examples are; NONE (no acceptance markings) Starburst S Starburst K Dove Eagle L (or C or D) An example of what I am looking for a. AB, SN, #2, dove b. AB, SN, #1 NONE c. WB, SN, #3, Starburst S If you have more than one example, then you could combine, but more info is always better. thanks much, ed |

Ed, nope, no markings at all, except for the commercial Haenel marking. Makes you think it's a truly commercial magazine or a police armourers spare magazine.
